Director, Zone 6
Ste Marie de Kent, NB
Paul joins the NBFSC Board of Directors after many years in the Aviation Sector, having retired from a professional career as an Air Traffic Controller and Commercial Pilot. He also has over a decade of experience in Off-Road Vehicle enforcement and education with the RCMP, where he received his certification as an ATV and Snowmobile Instructor with the force. He is currently employed as a (part-time) civilian member with the RCMP Air Service.
Paul began snowmobiling at a very early age, riding the family Ski-Doo Olympic. He would continue to be an avid snowmobiler having owned various makes & models over the years. Thankfully during that time, reliability with the sleds improved, and just as important, the trail network improved as well, both in quantity and quality through the hard work of many Volunteers.
No stranger to volunteering, he has helped with the development of trails, signage, and bridges with his home clubs. His association with the NBFSC began in 2009 when he was hired as the first Trail Manager. After a couple of years he left this position, and went back to volunteering. At the time, he was a member of the Chaleur Club, and was voted to the NBFSC Board of Directors for Zone 3, a position which he held for 2 years. During this time he also served as NBFSC Treasurer, and then as NBFSC Secretary until recently. He has also been the Chairman of the Trail Committee, and then Chairman of the Human Resources Committee. As a result of Club votes, during the 2020 AGM, Paul currently holds the position of Zone Director for Zone 6.
